About Mason

Hello, I’m Mason Ferguson, I’m a sophomore at Emory University in Atlanta, GA earning a Bachelors of Business Administration concentrated in Accounting and Strategy & Management Consulting and minoring in Classical Civilizations. I am a founder and co-owner of Own My Future and I am deeply passionate about helping others learn and grow in their financial literacy and am dedicated to helping others achieve financial independence and success.

Aside from my work with "Own My Future", I am heavily involved in extracurriculars at Emory University. One such group is Goizueta Investment Management Group (GIMG) where I serve as an analyst, researching market news and creating valuation models for my chosen companies. I am also the Vice President of Marketing and Outreach for Emory's chapter of Scholars of Finance. Within this club we teach ethical behaviors in the finance world and how we can use our positions for the betterment of society.

I am committed to service of the local community by volunteering my time. Through Consult Your Community, a collegiate level consulting club, I provide pro-bono consulting work to minority and women owned small businesses in the Atlanta area. I am also involved with the Eagle Food Pantry in Atlanta where I help distribute food to those who need it most. Through these organizations, I have and will continue to make positive impacts on my local community. 

My future aspirations are bright, as I am looking to break into the consulting industry where I can help businesses grow and expand their operations. 

I am dedicated to helping others achieve financial independence and success, and I hope to inspire others to join me on the journey to financial success and reach their financial goals.
